Gear Pump Lowara is a type of gear pump which is widely used in industry. This pump uses two gears as a working fluid drive inside the pump casing. Gear pump works by passing the fluid through the gaps between the teeth and the wall. Then the fluid is ejected through the outlet channel because of the nature of the pipe gear which always has a point of contact. An ideal gear pair will always have a single point of contact with the pair even though the gear is rotating. One gear drives and the other becomes driven. The gear drive is inside the driven gear.
